OUR PASTOR
JIM MATHEW
Pastor Jim Mathew and his wife, Tara, have been ministering at FRBC since 2015. Jim and Tara met in 2003 while both serving as missionaries in India. They married in India the same year and continued to serve there together. In 2007 God led them to Canada for Jim to begin his M.Div studies in Toronto. They later moved to England for 5 years where they had many music and ministry-related opportunities.
In 2015 God called them back into full-time ministry which brought them to Winnipeg. They now reside in Winnipeg with their four beautiful daughters.
We are the body of Christ, called to be Jesus in our circle of influence and beyond. Jim’s heart is for people to know God and make Him known. Jim encourages us to become more like Jesus by spending time in the Word and seeking Him. Then God can renew us, change us, transform us, revive us, and continue to reveal His heart. Jim’s vision is for us as a followers of Christ to make an impact (Influence) in the areas of Arts & Entertainment, Business, Culture, Development & Science, Education, Family, and Government.
